A local pearl oyster strain (POLOC) growing WITHOUT ANY CARE! This cluster grew in our dry incubation room with zero added humidity. Other oyster varieties browned and failed days ago while these things rip it up!!! Yellows go pop pop 👀🍄 This was one of our last good yellow flushes before it's been constant 20's. They grow in the cold, just not like this! One of our favorities to eat, soft and tender (known as the butter oyster) but definitely tough to kee Sweet blues off this batch! Such a beautiful thing to walk into knowing you egged on this beautiful formation 😅🥰 Big ol’ winter blues! The lower temperatures cause many of our mushrooms to become more vibrant yet slower growing 👀
Don’t forget we always have a plethora of dried mushrooms available on our website! Great for your soups, teas, and making your own tinctures...It’s actually really amazing how well they reconstitute!
